Scam!

I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to post about this, but I was aghast when I saw the email that www.OkayOkay.com sent to my inbox this morning! (And another question to them is -- how did they get my email???)

I generally check most deal emails I get -- I believe in diamonds in the rough! =) So as always, especially since this particular one was new to me, I scanned the note. And then I saw this:

Imagine my surprise because I bought these for PhP65 apiece or PhP260 for FOUR boxes at the Mommy Mundo Bazaar in November!!!

What a scam! When I checked the website, apparently, 9 people have already purchased them.

Oh well, sometimes you get a good deal, sometimes you don't. I believe that prices on sites like these (deal sites) use perception pricing. Check this graph out:

Either that, or I use perception pricing when I buy. (i.e., if I think it is worth the price, I will get it)

Anyway, just wanted to warn those who are so into deal sites to check out actual costs first before you think that a deal is really good deal. Because a lot of times, they are not!
