Happiness is...

Am sure a lot of you have heard that song from "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", "Happiness Is".

Happiness is finding a pencil
Sally brown knowing a secret
Telling the time,

Happiness is learning to whistle,
Tying your shoe
For the very first time,

Happiness is playing the drums
In your own school band,
And happiness is walking hand in hand,

Happiness is two kinds of ice cream...
Pizza with sausage
Climbing a tree.

Happiness is five different crayons...
Catching a firefly...
Setting him free.

Happiness is being alone every now and then.
And happiness is coming home again.

Happiness is morning and evening,
Daytime and nightime too.
For happiness is anyone and anything at all
That's loved by you.

Happiness is having a sister sharing a sandwich getting along
Happiness Is morning and evening
Daytime and nighttime, too

For happiness is anyone and anything at all that's loved by you
I've just been sitting here (actually, multitasking -- partially working, partially blogging) and I've been thinking how grateful I am that I am -- happy.

The littlest things make me happy:
  1. a hug from my boys
  2. new "old" books from ebay or booksale
  3. new office supplies!
  4. helping out people
  5. going to mass (promise!)
  6. and saying the rosary
  7. yummy food!
  8. laughing out loud (as in slap-you-thigh-funny laugh out loud)
  9. garlic rice!
  10. smell of new books
The list can go on, actually, but this is off the top of my head. How about you? What's happiness for you???
